Side by Side Farm offers a Community Supported Agriculture (CSA) program, a farming model in which community members invest in the farm at the beginning of the season. In return, members receive weekly shares of fresh, ecologically grown vegetables and herbs, as well as a close connection to the farm, and we hope your farmers.

Our CSA lasts for 24 weeks, beginning the last week of May.  We strive to provide you with an exciting mix of vegetables and herbs every week.  Shares include better known items such as heirloom tomatoes, carrots, and spinach as well as specialties like baby ginger and homegrown shiitake and oyster mushrooms and lemongrass.  Our produce is picked at its seasonal peak and given directly to members within minimal time after harvest.

The cost of a Larger Share is $600.00, ($27.00 of produce a week), which includes 8-10 items.  A Smaller Share costs $375.00 ($17.00 of produce a week) including 4-6 items a week.  You can come right to the farm, visit with us or the animals and pick up you share. For those of you closer to Cockeysville and Baltimore we deliver to two convenient locations, Hereford and Mt. Washington. There is a weekly delivery fee of $4. for off-farm pickups. The new Hereford pickup site is just off of I83 on Mt. Carmel Rd at the Natural Vibrant Health Wellness Center.  Our second pickup site is in Mt. Washington, which is located at Baltimore Yoga Village’s studio.

We encourage members to think of this farm as part of their community.  We will be hosting a few tours and other events at the farm for CSA members, so you can get to know the fields, farmers and other members.  We have a pick-your-own patch of flowers, vegetables and herbs that is just for CSA members and we encourage you to come out and enjoy it.  There are also several farm animals to visit with, a big hit with children and adults alike. This is an exciting time at the farm–we will be opening up some new ground and expanding our CSA.  We hope you come join us!
